So you want to alphabetically sort your rows in your Google sheet spreadsheet? The sort functionality in a Google sheets is something every spreadsheet user should know. It's really pretty simple, so don't even think about doing it manually!
Step 1: Get your data ready

Here you can see we have a list of fruit in a random order.
Step 2: Sort the column rows

Select the column you want to sort on, then click on Data > Sort sheet by column A, A->Z
Step 3: Sort on another column

If you would like to sort the rows by a different column, select the column and select Data > Sort sheet by column B, A->Z
